The happiness that comes from fame is fleeting. The happiness from fame is going away because Celebrities are always ambushed by fans wanting pictures for Instagram or any other social media app. Some Celebrities do like the attention because it makes them feel important or special. Fame will make some happy ,but not others.
It can be hard for Celebrities to make friends. According to the article Can Fame Make You Happy “It can be difficult for a celebrity to trust others and to make and keep true friends. Stars have to wonder if their “friends” like them for who they are or for what they have.” Celebrities don't know if their friends are fake or not,so many of them do not have that many friends they can trust and hangout with. You get some perks if you're famous. According to the article Can Fame Make You Happy “She spends her days doing what she loves. She earns more money from one movie than most people make in a lifetime. Plus, she gets amazing perks, like free clothes from top designers, front-row seats at prestigious award shows, and trips around the world.” You may get all these perks but it’s not worth it if you’re not happy with your life choices. Some Celebrities just want the attention turned off. According to the article Can Fame Make You Happy “Beyoncé has said that though she likes attention when she’s onstage, she’d be happier if she could “cut it off” when she isn’t performing and just enjoy her life.” Some people like some attention but not a bunch. For Christmas break, I didn't do much because I had to babysit my little sister since my parents had to work for a few more days. When I was at home I mostly just played my PS4 and texted my friends, and some days I got to go hang out with my friends. When Elijah, his little brother and I were hanging out, we thought it would be a good idea to ride on ice with our bikes and we were slipping everywhere.
On Christmas Eve I got really sick and I thought I would be fine for the day ,but I was puking a lot so I had to lay down all day. When I did get up I got to open presents from my family I got an action camera from my grandparents, Nike earbuds, and a Walking Dead lego set from my cousin. When I got home I got to open my present from my parents and I got a pair of pajamas. Later on, I fell asleep on the couch. When I was stood up, I couldn't see anything, my vision just went black. My parents got scared that I went blind and I couldn't see for about 10 minutes. After my vision started coming back, my parents said that it happened because I was dehydrated and that I looked as pale as a ghost. I took a water bottle upstairs with me. When I woke up it was Christmas and everyone else was already up and waiting for me. My brother got to open all his presents first since he had to got to work. My sister and I had to take turns opening presents. I got a laptop and 2 gift cards. One of the gift cards was taco bell because my parents know that I really like that restaurant. The other gift card was for a haircut because I needed a haircut. Some other things I got was an outfit, a blanket, a pillow, an under armour jacket, a speaker and a few more things. |
